DESCRIPTION
Page Street Apartments is an affordable housing development located at 333 Page Street, San José, CA 95126. The property features 81 affordable studio units and a two-bedroom staff unit. The property featured amenities are community room with a kitchen, laundry facilities, resident BBQ area, resident parking, secured bicycle storage, onsite management and services. A total of 81 apartments will be available to income-eligible households of one to two members. It is the objective of Page Street Apartments to provide decent, safe, and sanitary housing at a reasonable rent for those who can demonstrate an ability to pay the rent, protect and care for persons and property, and be responsible for themselves and their guests.
To ensure that residents are selected fairly, their qualifications for tenancy will be determined by evaluating their demonstrated performance, current financial status, and the applicant’s ability to meet the rules and regulations of the property. All 81 units at Page Street Studios are to be rented to low-income households, which qualify at 30%, 40%, and 50% of AMI. Occupancy standards, income & rent limits are provided below. Twenty-seven (27) units will be set aside for permanent supportive housing for chronic homeless individuals and provides 100% permanent supportive housing. The Santa Clara County Office of Supportive Housing (OSH) will provide referrals for housing to fill these twenty-seven (27) units. If enough referrals are not secured, management will advertise unit availability and process qualified applicants to fill the units. Applicant/tenant rent will be determined by the Housing Authority of Santa Clara County.
